Laptop Repair in Connecticut

Laptop Repair

Laptops are great to have.  They’re convenient, easy to transport and have the same power as a desktop.  They are also much more fragile. Because laptops are portable they often are damaged as a result of trauma.  Laptops get dropped, bumped around or they’re just handled incorrectly.  Internal parts tend to have a shorter life than those of their desktop counterparts.  If your laptop needs repair then bring it to the Laptop Repair Experts at Meriden Computer Repair.  Most repairs are flat fee* and we will get it fixed and back to you as quickly as possible.

Fix My Computer NOW!

Laptops have lots of moving parts even though it may not seem that way.  It’s important that you take precautions when using and transporting a laptop.  Using a well-padded laptop bag or backpack will help prevent damage.  Just because it’s called a laptop does not mean you should use it on your lap.  There are portable desks and laptop tables to help prevent excess heat.  Keep it off pillows, blankets, couches, etc… when in operation.  It should remain on a cool, hard surface.

If damage does occur then bring it to Meriden Computer Repair.  We fix most laptop repairs for $149*.

Here is a list of things that we can fix or replace:

Laptop Hardware Life Expectancy

Laptops run hotter.  It’s really that simple.  There is not as much ventilation in a laptop and this means that the parts are exposed to hotter temperatures.  This shortens the life of the hardware inside a laptop.  These parts are replaceable (not always easily or affordably).  Before you make the decision to purcase a new laptop bring your laptop to us and we will advise you of your options.
